FOCP wins big for projects from District to National - 2019 Awards
This past spring at the District X Convention the Friends of Oak Cliff Parks had a great showing when awards were presented for garden club projects completed in 2018. FOCP finished second of all clubs with 108 total awarded points and first in the green garden club category. Those projects that advanced to the state level garnered five 1st place awards and a second consecutive year for the Friends of Oak Cliff Parks being named the State of Texas Green Garden Club of the Year. At Nationals, we won two first place awards, one for our hillside daffodil bed at Founders Parks and the other for our website. Thanks to our webmaster Suzanne Windhorst for keeping our web page first rate.
